Private label is normal. Accountability is the issue.
Window-film manufacturers openly serve private-label and OEM customers. This ledger documents that market without guessing which factory sits behind a particular box.

THE RULE
Private labeling is not evidence of poor quality or misconduct. The questions are who made the product, who warranties it, whether revisions are traceable and whether each claimed relationship can be documented.

CONFIRMED
Madico publicly operates private-label programs for window film.
Finding
Madico's November 2025 leadership announcement names a Director of Key Accounts & Private Label, Window Film, and says the role leads private-label program strategy. Madico separately identifies itself as a window-film manufacturer.
What would close the gap
The announcement does not identify Madico's private-label customers or map a customer brand to a specific film family.
MaxPro identifies both its factory and a private-label account function.
Finding
MaxPro's company page describes its North Carolina manufacturing facility and lists an East Coast Sales Manager and Director of Private Label Accounts. This is direct first-party evidence of private-label activity.
What would close the gap
MaxPro does not name the customer accounts or identify which customer film families it manufactures.
Nexfil openly offers OEM and ODM window-film production.
Finding
Nexfil identifies itself as a specialist window-film manufacturer and invites OEM/ODM inquiries concerning production partnerships, product development, pricing and supply terms.
What would close the gap
Its public page does not name the brands supplied through those arrangements.
Global Hi-Tech says it manufactures for other leading brands.
Finding
Global Hi-Tech describes itself as a vertically integrated window-film manufacturer and says it is a trusted manufacturer for top brands in U.S., European and other global markets.
What would close the gap
The statement does not name those brands, so it proves the business model—not a specific supply relationship.
ASWF appears to operate a private-label sales channel.
Finding
ASWF confirms the Erickson International factory. Two public employment directories independently identify an ASWF role responsible for international sales and private label. Because the private-label detail is not on an ASWF corporate page, we grade the channel as corroborated rather than confirmed.
What would close the gap
An ASWF private-label services page, customer announcement, contract or attributable company statement.
No customer brand belongs under any of these manufacturers without its own proof.
Finding
Similar specifications, packaging, installer reports or overlapping personnel can produce useful leads. None independently proves that a particular manufacturer coated a particular branded film.
What would close the gap
Product-level evidence such as a contract, invoice, certificate, SDS, warranty record, shipping document or attributable confirmation from either party.
Installer groups contain recurring claims about factories, imports and house brands. We use those discussions to find questions and documents—not to publish anonymous assertions as fact. Private member names, screenshots and verbatim comments are withheld.
