Independence
No company pays for coverage, placement or a grade, and none can buy a change to one. Consulting, field evaluations and speaking are separate, disclosed services; when a manufacturer has paid for one, it is flagged next to that manufacturer's coverage. The founder's other businesses and industry relationships are disclosed in the editorial standards.
Sources and corrections
Coverage is built from company releases, filings, dated data sheets and archived pages. Tips and private conversations start research but never appear as fact. Companies get a right of reply before material criticism, and corrections are handled publicly under the corrections policy.
